Peter Jennings 1936-2005 RIP

Peter Jennings has left this world yesterday, yet he leaves behind many memories. Some good, some funny, and some just Peter!

He worked at ABC News for 41 years. During this time, he became the anchor. This lasted for 36 years.

He told us in April of this year that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Four months later, he is gone. His family says he died without pain and in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the family(ies) he has left behind. May your pain be light, your days be filled with good memories, and peace come to you soon.

Mr. Jennings became a United States of America citizen 2 years ago. Should I receive more information on our Canadian newsman, I shall update this article.

In the meantime, thank you, Mr. Jennings, for all the hard work you did for us. Thank you for the good times, as well as the horrible times you were there to walk us through them. Now it is time for you to rest. Do so peacefully. Good-bye.
