The Democrats promised during the pre-election era that they would return the USA to fiscal responsibility.
The Republicans seem to have learned the wrong message sent by the voters, once again, when it comes to fiscal responsibility. Who is right?
To be fair, the Democrats have not yet regained the keys to the American purse. This will occur in January 2007.
Are the Republicans trying to get what they can before they become the minority, or is it a free-for-all (except the taxpayers, of course)? You decide.

Just keep an eye on what "pork" gets cut in 2007. I'm betting not much.
They will consider it a delicasse, and try to get as much as they can for themselves. I just hope someone has the hutzpah to charge them with theft from the taxpayers! (Or something.)
