RFA News: Activist's Appeal Okay'd

There is hopeful movement for a Chinese activist in Hong Kong who has been arrested and found guilty for "willfully damaging property and organizing a mob to disturb traffic." He received 4 years and 3 months. His crime? He blew the whistle on officials who were abusing the people.
Chen, a social activist who blew the whistle on official abuses under China's one-child policy, was sentenced by the Yinan County People's Court on Aug. 24 to four years and three months' imprisonment for "willfully damaging property and organizing a mob to disturb traffic."

Lawyers and relatives called the trial an illegal and retaliatory move by local officials angry at Chen's damning expose of their actions.

Editor's Note: I hope this case prevails for the people of China and not the government. This one-child per family is not the government's business. They have no right to murder children, especially those children whom are wanted. Keep them in your prayers.
