No. 2 al-Qaeda in Iraq Arrested

It has been reported that Hamed Jumaa Farid al-Saeedi, known as Abu Humam or Abu Rana, has been arrested about three days ago, reports Mouwaffak al-Rubaie of the Iraqi Authority.
He was the No. 2 in al-Qaida in Iraq after slain leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, al-Rubaie said. He was also responsible for the person who carried out the bombing of a Shiite shrine in Samarra in February, he said.

While the AP claims that this bombing of the Mosque caused tensions between Sunnies and Shiites, this is not the case.

This brought everyone together against the terrorists, and now the terrorists have little sactuary. Well they are still lethal, they are no longer welcomed in many of the places they used to hide.
