Terrorists Strike Egypt
At 7:15 Egyptian time, there were several bombs that detonated in a resort area named a Dahab, a seafront resort about 200 miles southeast of Cairo. It is still unclear how many people were injured and killed, but the figures as of this writing are 85 injured and 24 dead. The number was 23, but one man died in the hospital from his injuries.
Of the people murdered, twenty were Egyptian and three were foreigners. They are withholding some of the nationalities, however. Possibly until they accurately know.
President Hosni Mubarab stated, "...sinful terrorist attacks." This was followed by President Bush's condemnation of these attacks.
Israel's Ambassador to Egypt believes it was a pre-set time-bomb, and not a suicide bomber.

I have tried to reach my Egyptian friends, but unfortunately I have been unable. If you pray, would you please say a pray for Sandmonkey and Big Pharaoh? I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.
Wow! That was quick. Before this went to print, I was able to find out that they are BOTH alright! Thank God.

"I strongly condemn the killings that took place, the innocent life lost in Egypt," he said. "This is a heinous act against innocent civillians.Walid Phares was on MSNBC yesterday trying to give some insight. He believes it was an inside job, because it was rather sophisticated. There could be al Qaeda links, but he does not wish to jump to conclusions. That would be too easy, and he takes his work very seriously.
He continued, "We keep those [who] were injured in our thoughts and prayers and I assure the enemy this--we will stay on the offensive, we will not waver, we will not tire, we will bring you to justice for the sake of peace and humanity."
